Ask for information
RTI Online lets a citizen request information from participating central public authorities and track the request.
RTI OnlineManifesto
This is our humble attempt to build a complete citizen system: one front door for records, rights, money, services and every next step.
Citizen began as a hackathon project. The more we built, the clearer the gap became: India has strong digital public systems, but no single place carries a citizen's context and work from beginning to end.
We believe Citizen can become that missing layer of public infrastructure. Given the opportunity, we want to build it completely, end to end, with the institutions that already serve the country.
This prototype is the first working proof of that larger system.
Convenience is not enough. The product must earn trust by refusing the business models and interaction patterns that work against the citizen. Nothing to sell you. Nothing to hide from you!
No ads, rewards feed or cross-selling disguised as public service.
Records exist to complete a public purpose, not to create a commercial profile.
Every handoff names the purpose, evidence, recipient and expiry. Access can be revoked.
Voice and chat are useful entrances. They cannot substitute for connected records, accountable routing and real processing capacity.
Chat and voice can help someone enter. Underneath, the public machinery carries context forward, sends it to the right system and returns the result to the same citizen record.
Begin with the situation in ordinary language, not a portal name or department.
Bring together the person, family, place, documents, permissions and previous actions.
Find the responsible service and send only the evidence it needs, with visible consent.
Update the record, receipt, deadline and history so the next service does not restart.
The Citizen Graph
The same person is a taxpayer, an employee, a proprietor, a nominee, a child, an owner. Today each role lives behind a different login. Citizen keeps them on one record and shows every relationship with its history, so a director and a son are the same Arjun.
PAN, returns, refunds and notices, with the reason for each.
UAN, contributions, employer and pension, checked against the passbook.
Every business you own or run, its filings, licences and schemes.
Parents, spouse, children, nominees and heirs, as relationships with dates.
Property, vehicles, their taxes, challans and transfers.
The scope someone has given you, for how long, and what you did with it.
When someone dies, a family should not have to discover the hospital, registrar, bank, pension, insurance, property and vehicle processes independently. Citizen should order the work, reuse proof and keep every handoff visible.
The hospital or registrar captures the first verified evidence once.
The certificate returns to the family record and becomes reusable evidence.
Bank, pension, EPF and insurance steps receive only what each process needs.
Nominee, property and vehicle work appears in a clear order with owners and deadlines.
Applications, receipts, delays, decisions and appeals remain in one family history.
Situation: A tree outside my home needs attention.
The responsible authority can change with the road, land, tree, utility lines and local rules. Citizen should resolve that jurisdiction before asking the person to fill a form.
Ask for the location, urgency and immediate risk in plain language.
Check the municipal, forest, road and utility context without exposing the maze.
Route the evidence to the responsible authority and show who owns the next action.
If the case stalls, carry the same history into the appropriate grievance channel.
Situation: I need stamp paper so someone can act on my behalf.
The document may be a power of attorney or authority to represent a company. The instrument, stamp duty and signing requirements can change with its purpose and jurisdiction. Citizen should identify the correct route before asking anyone to pay or sign.
State who may act for whom, what they may do and how long the authority should last.
Match the purpose and jurisdiction to the appropriate power of attorney or company-authority document.
Show the applicable basis, amount and authorised e-stamping or stamp-duty channel before payment.
Explain the applicable signing, witness, notarisation or registration steps, then keep the certificate and executed document together.
A useful public super app should make the route to information, grievance and appeal as legible as a payment. These are different remedies and should stay distinct, but their status should live in the same citizen timeline.

RTI OnlineCPGRAMS accepts service-delivery grievances, provides status tracking and supports an appeal when a resolution is unsatisfactory.
CPGRAMSTwo remedies. One understandable history of what the citizen asked and what the government answered.
In the demo, an unresolved record offers both routes: raise a grievance or file an RTI, with the history attached.Try it in the demo
India has built powerful public platforms. Yet even one government task can send you through a stack of forms, portals and websites that are hard to navigate. You need to know what exists, where to find it and which step comes first.
Citizen should connect these platforms around the person, preserve their distinct legal roles and remove the need to learn each interface separately.
Central, state, local and utility services already meet in one government platform.
Issued documents can be accessed, shared and verified from a digital document wallet.
Eligibility-based discovery helps people find schemes without visiting many government websites.
A single grievance portal connects citizens to ministries, departments and states, with tracking and appeal.
A dedicated route exists for filing and tracking information requests to central public authorities.

To anyone who has opened six tabs to finish one government task:
One record should carry the context. Services should form a pipeline around the person. Government should become easier to understand, easier to question and easier to complete.
